The terms for using Shopt, including our text message program.

These terms apply to your use of Shopt, an online enthusiast car insurance quoting service and a program of Covenant Underwriters LLC, a licensed insurance agency ("Shopt," "we," "us"). By using Shopt you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Quotes and coverage
Shopt requests quotes from several insurance companies using the information you provide. Quotes are estimates and may change. Each insurance company decides whether to offer coverage and at what price. No coverage is in force until an insurance company accepts and binds it and you receive confirmation from us. Submitting a quote request does not create a policy.
2. Your information
You agree to give complete and accurate information about yourself, your household drivers and your vehicles, and to tell us about changes. Incorrect or incomplete information can change your price, delay or prevent coverage, or affect claims.
3. Text message (SMS) terms
Program. Shopt by Covenant Underwriters LLC sends text messages about your quote request and policy, such as submission confirmations, status updates when quotes are ready, requests for information, bind and policy notices, and replies to your questions.
Consent. You receive texts only if you check the text message consent box on the Shopt quote form. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Frequency. Message frequency varies with the activity on your quote request.
Costs. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt out. Reply STOP at any time to cancel. We will send one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed and will send no further texts unless you opt in again by replying START.

Number. Shopt texts come from (833) 987-4678.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Your mobile information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy and is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
4. E-mail and electronic records
You agree that we may send notices, quotes and documents electronically, and that electronic signatures and acknowledgments you give through Shopt have the same effect as signatures on paper.
5. Use of Shopt
You may use Shopt only to request insurance for yourself or for vehicles and drivers you are authorized to insure. You may not misuse the site, attempt to access it by automated means, or interfere with its operation.
6. Links to other sites
Shopt may link to insurance company websites and other sites we do not control. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Shopt is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, Covenant Underwriters LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under insurance law or the terms of a policy you buy.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above shows when they were last changed.
